C-3PO not to scale and not chrome - another example of Hasbro not caring enough for this line
Hasbro has put out some good quality figures, and there are good examples that can be found in the Force Awakens line. This, however, is not one of them. For one thing, rather than get the shiny chrome finish that we know C-3PO for, you get a dull gold paint job. This might be overlooked but for the fact that the figure itself is tiny - he is NOT to scale with the other 3.75 figures in the line. R2-D2 is okay, but it's this lack of caring that is seriously hurting this line. Of course their strategy has always been to put out poor quality figures initially that people buy just to fill the spot in their collection only to release another improved version later on. Hasbro, Star Wars collectors are a huge part of your business, but if you continue to insult them like this, you will slowly lose that business. I know many people who have stopped collecting because of choices you have made with this line. Please give the fans what they want, not what you think you can get away with.

Decent likeness for a reasonable price
The Power of the Force 2 figures are very basic figures although much better sculpts than the original vintage figures. For anyone looking to complete their Jabba's palace collection, this is a good buy. I believe this is the only version besides the vintage one, and definitely much cheaper. So for those collecting for aesthetics rather than value, this is your best choice.

Good likeness, great for a 5POA figure
Some serious collectors absolutely HATE the 5POA (5 points of articulation) figures. I, on the other hand, LOVE them. Not only are they reminiscent of the old-school vintage figures, but you don't see joints all over the place, which to me affects the look of the sculpt. I understand that some people like to pose their figures, and these do not offer much in that respect, but I think they make up for it in other ways.
Anyway, the Chancellor Valorum figure is an excellent likeness with a good paint job. His robe is molded plastic yet is separate from his body. You can't remove it but you can actually see his clothes underneath, and his legs can move independently of it, though it may constrict his movement a little. This is an example of the kind of quality Hasbro is lacking in many of the figures from the new Force Awakens line. This figure was done right, and I wish they would do all of their figures this way.
