70-210 Nikkor AF D Zoom
I needed to be sure I had some kind of lens in this range when my 80-200 Silent Wave zoom failed and wanted an economical but sharp lens to tide me over for any portrait work with studio strobes. I think this lens does just that. Ken Rockwell gives it high marks and that sold me. Glad I got the D version which is supposed to focus faster.
