Clamps used to secure weights
5 von 6 finden das hilfreich Clamps are rather difficult to use for a 76-year old with arthritic hands.
And my hands are still rather strong since I am an active martial
artist who trains regularly every week. This problem with the clamps
seems like it may be a basic design problem.
I have tried "greasing" the rods so the clamps would slide easier.
I have also used pliers to squeeze the handles on the clamps to open
the metal "rings" wider so they would slide on the rods more smoothly.
I would love if the clamps were simply the type that screwed onto
the rods and would also sit "flush" with the weight. Yet I am managing to
use them as I anticipated. Thus, I have not considered returning them.
