A MUST see if you love music. Karen Carpenter is arguably the finest female vocalist of the 20th century.
Wonderful music and inspirational true story/documentary.

I bought a dozen of these for Christmas giving next year
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The Spirit of Christmas is one of the most unique Christmas programs ever produced. I bought it because It stands alone artistically and historically, and also because it's just simply wonderful. It features the Les and Mabel Beaton Marionettes (Hey, when do you ever see marionettes anymore?) and beautifully tells the story of The Night Before Christmas and The Nativity. It. was first shown by Bell Telephone in the early 1950's, then stored in a vault in the basement of Ma Bell for several decades, rediscovered and re-released. Children of all ages are enthralled by it If you get a chance to see it, you'll love it, as it is warm, touching, and compares to nothing else on the traditional Christmas menu. It's really not like anything that you have ever seen.

"The Thing" is one of a very few highly suspenseful and well written Sci-Fi films of all time.
The original (early 50s) B&W "The Thing" is one of a very few highly suspenseful and well written Sci-Fi films of all time. If you've never seen it, you're missing something very special. The entire cast is magnificent.
