great ccr R&R
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich this is i believe the first offering from CCR. Basic country/blues influenced Rock and Roll. John Fogarty was the heart and soul of this band. He wrote almost all of their music, played lead guitar, sang lead vocals.
hard blues ("I put a spell on you," 99 & a half".), folksy ("suzie Q"). Religious ("walk on the water")'
This was basic R&R at its best.

0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I originally had this vinyl album in the 1980's and loved; it decided to order it now from my fond memories of this album.
This is definitely R&R with obvious Reggae influence but not as boring. Although making out the lyrics is quite difficult when there are any.
Some clicks and pops, but no skipping. What is normal from a vinyl LP.
