Great football gameplay that is superior
EA / Madden series has had a monopoly on the NFL license since 2005, hence this game in 2007. Gameplay in APF 2k8 is WAY better than anything EA / Madden has done in the last 15 years. Blocking, tackling, throwing, running, and AI are much more realistic in my humble opinion, and this game was made in 2007. It's not 100% perfect, but it plays as close as you can get to real football, even in 2018.
Weaknesses are no Franchise mode, only a single Season mode. No NFL license either (EA / Madden has taken that away from everyone since 2005). There are only a limited amount of retired NFL players on imaginary teams and stadiums. Graphics are decent but not as good, but again this was made in 2007 for older consoles compared to todays Xbox One / PS4.
2k Sports needs to make another NFL licensed football game ASAP, because lately Madden has been negligent slop.
The bottom line is this - All Pro Football 2k8 is a better football experience and is fun to play.
