Two Thumbs Up for the LoFrisco Family Cookbook
The LoFrisco Family Cookbook is well-written and has appealing recipes and entertaining stories. Photos are also spread throughout the cookbook. It will make a wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys cookbooking Italian food and has a love for well-told stories.
I am giving the cookbook 4 stars due to two reasons, the binding and the color of pages. The binding is extremely tight and needs to be properly "broken in" in order to turn the pages easily. I find the dark text on the dark background hard to read, but young eyes probably won't have an issue with that. It's my personal preference to have light text on a dark background or dark text on a light background.
I am *very* happy with the LoFrisco Family Cookbook and would give it as gifts without any hesitation.
