They do not rust outdoors
They work well on outdoor applications like tacking up plant windbreaks

Useful for staking tall plants
Exactly as described, delivered promptly and very well packaged. I find these very useful as temporary supports for tall seasonal plants. Much better than bamboo and will last for many years.
They rust and this harmonises with the garden.

Robust quiet and sharp
Makita tools are of good design and perform well which is why I bought this hedge clipper. It is very sharp and cuts very cleanly and after half an hour of use the battery still indicated full charge. Two minor niggles, the optional leaf collector attachment is not available in the UK although listed in the Makita spare parts manual. The other thing is that the movable blade when in operation extends beyond the end of the fixed blade which can cause a problem when cutting up against a wall. This 520 long blade makes short work of my hedge, half the time of my old cutter.
