Beautiful, restoration worthy model.
Rivarossi made one of the finest models in history. Unfortunately some vintages are now exhibit the dreaded "zinc pest" disease. The extent of damage was clearly seen on images. The repair involves replacing all die cast parts with custom made ones and re-motoring. Task not easy, but Rivarossi models are well worth the restoration attempts ...

Expensive device and not accurate enough.
Expensive and not accurate enough, providing +/- 5% off readings. In the age of cheap and sufficient Chinese devices this USA made instrument doesn't offer much in terms of quality. It's a dinosaur ...

Simple and effective
Claimed CV/CC capability is only partially true: the set-up voltage holds relatively constant, but the current does not. Not really the state-of-the-art in terms of design and manufacturing quality, but for the money it does the job.
