four stars
this is a very nice pickguard. I took away one star because when it arrived, it wasn't quite flat probably because of the very poor packaging. it was slipped into a ziplock bag and put in a paper envelope. it must have been bent in shipping, it came all the way from China. I flattened it by heating it with a hair dryer and stacking some heavy books on it. almost perfect, when I applied it to my black acoustic instead of the original black one, it stuck entirely flat and totally changed the look of the guitar. looks great now, very formal, tuxedo-like. if they took more care in packaging, like adding some stiffening cardboard of something...five stars!

worked fine
used these on a Dean Hollow body and a Gretsch solid body. worked fine, just be aware that different manufacturers make different length threaded connectors that may or may not protrude far enough all the way through your guitar body for the threaded ring to secure the switch, as well as different threaded posts that accept the little plastic switch covers. the price was great as compared to "name" brands, and I personally feel the quality is the same or very close. all switches can fail, so why spend extra money for something that may be only marginally better?

fit perfectly, works great
despite some reviews I read saying that these newer types weren't as good as the older ones, I found no discernible difference. I guess some folks just like to complain. the price was fair, shipping was quick, the product was as described, what else can you ask for?
