great newer movie!
This movie was surprisingly good, but oftenTarantino's movies grab me that way! Way too much use of the "n" word, but it was probably appropriate for the time period this movie was set in.

toomb of the golden bird
this is one of the latest in elizabeth peters' "amelia peabody" series, which started in the late 1800's and is now taking place after world war 1 in egypt, as usual. i've been reading her for years and enjoy it more and more.
it's been a great journey seeing how the world and its atitudes have changed ovr a period of 30+ years from a strong woman's viewpoint. and if you enjoy archeology/egyptology at all, it's a bonus for you as well. am eagerly looking forward to this series continuing for many years to come.
