Daughter loves it, just wish they had one for boys too
My daughter loves this book. I wish they had a version for boys so my son won't feel left out. Perhaps a gender neutral/all inclusive version would sell best. Anyway, it's a hit with my daughter.

Gr8 4 older kids(6/8yrs+up).Quite a bit of kanji.Gr8 4 bi-lingual families.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I purchased this bi-lingual Japanese Folktales for my son. He is currently to young to enjoy this book but he will certainly "grow into it". My husband is Japanese and we wish to raise our son using both English and Japanese. This book allows us both to read to our son in both languages. My husband reviewed the book and said it was a great purchase. I would like to have more "romanji", hiragana or katakana than all the kanji used in the book. I am still not that great at reading kanji. This book is a bit more advanced, maybe later elementry to junior high age but still worth the purchase due to how rare bi-lingual Japanese/English books are.
