Heavyweight and substancial

For my purposes the thickness of the spanner jaws was too much when compared with the thickness of the nut that I was trying to undo/do up resulting in slippage and much bad language and other things. Having said that, if the nut is of greater depth than the spanner jaws and ring, then it is well made and substancial, and just the job.
