Fits and doesn't leak
Well, it was an exact fit and no leaks. I applied 150 psi on nitrogen to the system and locked down the valves on the gauge bank. I checked it 12 hours later then 36 hours hours later and it was still at 150 psi.
I then pulled a vacuum for 4 hours and again, locked it down. As of now, 5 days later, I haven't serviced it with oil and R-134. We'll see how it goes when I get around to finishing.
As there seems to be at least two versions of the condenser for the 300SD, be sure your original matched the one you order. One has the threaded fittings one up top and the other on the bottom. This one has both fittings near the top pointing down.
