blurred colors
The colors of the pieces are not as sharp as depicted on the picture outside of the box. In fact the transitions from one color to an adjoining color are blurred. I've never had a puzzle like this before, but then this is the first Hoyle puzzle I've owned. This will be challenging but not entertaining. I will certainly never buy a Hoyle puzzle again, nor would I recommend to friends.

Trouble with small gold
I purchased this coil for use with a Minelab Safari. While the NEL coil could detect small gold rings that the standard 11" coil could not, it did not do well with other shapes of small gold. At this point I am not using it as I have only marginal confidence. As with other NEL coils, you can tell this is a quality product. I did note that the coil cable is somewhat larger than the cable on the 11" coil and that caused a little difficulty pushing the cable through the shaft. That problem was solved by dropping a light wire down the shaft and pulling the coil cable through. It came through easily.
