  Nicely packed and quickly shipped. Item is home made and mirrors in cherry wood what previous coil testers have done in plastic. It worked perfectly with the recommended small 6V battery. I put an unknown $10 coil in it and adjusted the coil as directed. The coil performed according to specs, so I scored in a great tester and a good, cheap, coil.

  Packaging was great. No way this thing was getting damaged, unless it fell out of the back of the plane during transit. Assembly was near perfect! Wood joints were all tight and wood had a nice finish to all surfaces. I will be replacing the wood screws, with brass panhead screws, but that is just a personal preference. This is just fine, as is, and is exactly as described. I've seen similar 'antique' devices that do the same thing, selling for $ 400+. This was a great find!
