Real-World Christian Thoughts

I am enjoying the book. Anne Lamott writes candidly about meaning, hope, and repair. She puts things in language that, as real-world Christian, I find compelling and refreshing. This is a thought provoking book that during this thought wrenching time of covid-19 provides a guided look at deep subjects. I highly recommend it.

Richard J. Foster's book on prayer is essential to the person seeking to deepen their prayer life. I've read it as an individual and new will use these books with a group of young adults looking for a more meaningful spiritual life.

McGarrity Strikes Gold for a good read

Michael McGarrity has a string of novels dedicated to telling the story of Kevin Kearney, a law enforcement officer with the dream of returning to ranching in New Mexico. McGarrity has a strong sense of the New Mexico landscape, the environment, and the history of the state. Kearney is a compelling character and well worth getting into. The book itself is in excellent shape and very readable, just what we were looking for.
