Terrible wet traction

I got these tires to replace my worn cheap Walmart slicks I bought years ago. I chose these tires due to the overall good reviews. I must say these tires are great on dry roads but absolutely terrible with even the slightest rain. Wiped out on a turn I have ridden for years with the old tires even in heavy rain with no problems. By the way these are the cheaper 60 psi tires.
