Very useful
This is a lovely add on for the Nikon 1 V3, unless of course you got it bundled already. It does obscure the battery flap, so you have to remove it to swap batteries. One of my favourite features is the scroll wheel just below the release button. Shooting on manual is a real pleasure with this grip.

Essential add on for V3
Unless you were fortunate enough to get the bundle, this is pretty much an essential add on for the Nikon 1 V3. It works well in bright light and provides all the essential info in the viewfinder. When you don't need it it clips off easily.
