MUCH better than the book!
The reader, Grover Gardner, is terrific...speaks impeccable English and German. The story is spellbinding! Shirer is an outstanding author and his skills were obviously honed by the many years as a journalist in Europe and, particularly, in Berlin in the 1930s and early 1940s. I highly recommend this book!!!

Outstanding and little known
I have purchased almost 200 documentaries on World War II in the past five months and have viewed almost all of them, so I have a bit of knowledge about what's out there. This particular documentary about daring escapes during the War is OUTSTANDING. In no other of my purchases did I see anything about these, so the information was totally fresh to me...this is unlike many of the others which had portions covered in still other of my documentaries. I highly recommend it for the WWII history buff or just for the average viewer.
