a necessity replaced.
A Goddard's silver cloth always resides in my kitchen drawer. The old one was just about worn out. This one replaced it.

All one could ask of a water filter.
This is an old version of the Brita water filters, known as "classic",and is now quite hard to find. The newer ones do not fit my Brita jug. It does what it's supposed to do. One does not clean it, hence my leaving blank that slot. It arrived very quickly, which was good.

Simple and efficient.
This was exactly what I wanted, and although it was a little tricky to set up, it works well. The only criticism I have is that when assembled as instructed, with the foil above and the cling film below, the cutter does not work on the clingfilm. Reversed, both cutters work perfectly. I have no idea why this should be, but it was annoying for a while till I found out the answer.
