Insulin cooler that works.
This is ideal for my travels since I am a type 2 diabetic. I have had my unit a week now and I am very pleased with it. It is quiet and cools as expected. I have noticed a rough plus and minus one degree centigrade temperature swing which is negligible as far as I am concerned. It has a lithium battery pack that charged in a little over three hours while the unit was running at the same time. I believe the battery pack is simply 4 of the 18650 batteries in parallel and should not be difficult to replace if needed. The unit comes with everything needed including a car cigarette lighter adapter and the usb to micro cord. This unit with also operate fine off of an external battery pack like what you would use to charge a phone with when commercial power goes off. I can fit four vials inside with ease or two vials and a pen so the size works for me. Otherwise, it is small. This is not a commercial refrigerator so you cannot load it up. So far, there is nothing I have to complain about. Keep in mind though, the batteries are lithium rechargeable batteries and I believe they may not be carried aboard an aircraft so some other
provision may have to be made to use this on an airplane flight. Keep in mind as well that you should not cover the fan vents on either side and the bottom as well. By the way, I have only had this unit a week more or less. A longer time frame is needed to see just how reliable it really is.
