It's terrible

The "leather", and I use that term lightly, is super stiff and when I tried to soften it up, it started to fall apart. If you're going to use it as a static prop or wall hanger, it serves the purpose but if you intend to actually use it, it's just not suitable.

OEM part. Screwdriver is a perfect fit.

After watching a tutorial on how to install it on youtube, I managed to replace my broken one with the new one in less than 5 minutes. The included screwdriver was a perfect fit and the port door is OEM as far as I can tell. I will be ordering a couple more of the doors to keep on hand for future replacements.

KAC products are outstanding and this sight is no exception. Nice low profile BUIS. The windage know is placed forward on the sight, so it doesn't interfere with operation of the charging handle. Unlike the MATECH sight which is so in the way of the right hand ear, you need to run some sort of tac-latch for one handed operation. This KAC sight has positive flip up operation and locks securely in both the down and up position. And the detent is so large that it can go through thousands upon thousands of up and down cycles and still have positive lock up. Super high quality machining is apparent in this sight. No rough castings or shortcuts. Everything is high quality and made in the USA. If you're looking for top quality that will last a lifetime of hard service in a compact package, this is the sight for you. TL:DR Great sight in every aspect. Highly recommended.
