Simple toy to stimulate the imagination.
It seems expensive for very simple blocks of wood, however, we found it to be well worth the price. My kids (4-17) play with this endlessly. This toy have cultivated creativity, improved concentration (in a child who struggles in this area), and strengthened sibling bonds. I did need to purchase a second set, as 400 blocks weren't enough for all five of my children to play together. I'm glad I splurged on these blocks... twice!

Sweet story about sibling love.
Love this story! I bought it simply because the brother and sister in this story have the same names as my children. It turned out to be a delightful story about a little sister who can not be calmed by anyone in the family despite their best efforts, that is, until her brother sings to her. My 2 year old loves it and I think it helped him to feel important in his role as the big brother. He now sings and speaks gently to the baby when she cries. My bigger kids find the English use of cot (crib) and Mum (Mom) really amusing. While the quality is fine, I wish it came in hardcover or even a board book.
