Extremely powerful, but a bit difficult for novices
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The Philips Pronto series of programmable remote controls are quite possibly the most powerful remote controls available. With complete control over every aspect of the touchscreen's appearance and function, the tech-savvy user can create remote control nirvana. Unfortunately, such power comes with a bit of a price: the programming of the remote must be done via your Home PC for maxmimum effect and the software, while infinitely configurable, is far from intuitive and requires a fairly steep learning curve. If you take the time to learn, however, you will never purchase another model of remote control again.
This is my second TSU3000. I purchased another only because my toddler has dropped my first remote 1 too many times and the backlight ceased functioning. My first lasted 4 years until it met chaos incarnate (my boy), and I fully expect this one to last another 4 or 5 years without hiccup.
Overall, I am a huge fan of the Pronto and highly recommend it.
