Better, faster color prints, and less cursing around the 'ouse!
Right out of the box, this printer performed even better than I expected. After becoming tired of fooling around with, shall I say, less expensive (translation: cheap) color printers to share between my and my wife's home office, I decided to pony up the bucks for this fast, reliable HP, and I'm very happy I did!

Good quality, nicely made cover
This cover was very nicely put together, and fit my Marshall Origin 20H like a glove. It was used for a gig the day I got it. Made from nice, heavy vinyl with a cloth-like backing, it would definitely protect the amp head from the bumps and scrapes of a load-in, load-out. Of course, it's not like a flight case, but if you're handling the equipment yourself, it does the job at a lot less back-breaking weight!

Surprisingly unique stereo line mixer
I looked at a lot of options when I needed a simple stereo line mixer for the MIDI synth modules in my project studio. The most important feature for me was a "signal present" LED which makes things easier when going for a knob while adjusting signal levels. Also, low distortion specs, balanced outputs, and versatile output options was very important, and the LM-8ST had just what I was looking for. I actually own three of these units now, which speaks to my complete satisfaction. The only thing I could possibly complain about is the very poorly chosen knobs that Tascam outfitted this mixer with - it is almost impossible to see the pointers on them, especially in low-light conditions, but I found a terrific, easy-to-see, direct swap-out for them, and have changed all the knobs on my three mixers. They're made by the Davies Molding Co., and can be found at Mouser Electronics, part# 5164-1108
