Nice hard to find globe.
My lantern was made in 1980 and replacement globes are hard to find. This globe being an OEM globe fits perfectly. The original globe had frosted areas to cut down on the harshness of the light. This globe does not. A simple fix was to bead blast it in my blast cabinet to frost the glass.

Works great
This flux works as intended per the instructions. It cleans the parts good and allows the silver/brass alloy solder to flow and fill even the most minute cracks. I used it in the repair of stress cracks in a brass lantern fount.

Great color photos
This book has all color photos and is a great addition to your library. color photos of the PE are not too common. The color photos makes it seem like they were taken yesterday. A good source of color info for model builders and model RR layouts.
