Better than I expected
I purchased 2 sets of these strings several months ago. They arrived on time, new and in excellent condition. Other than having to drill theTail Piece to accommodate the 2 thickest strings, they have worked perfectly for four gigs with no issues.
I have since been told by a qualified professional music instrument repairer, that drilling the tailpiece is not uncommon when switching from standard round wound strings strings to Flatwound Strings. The annoying string buzz I used to get when sliding up and down a string has been eliminated and the sound range is very good on my active Washburn Bass. I now want to buy a fretless bass to try them on.
