1970’s Topps MLB cards are timeless
It’s five stars because it’s just what I wanted. Classic Americana wrapped in a beautiful ensemble of colors. Frank Robinson is the man and Cleveland is the place. The tribe will live on forever in this period piece of timeless graphic art. The 1976 series of Topps MLB trading cards was before my time, just barely, and so I only have a handful of decent examples in my 40 year old collection. My other choice pics for this season will be a David Parker, Carl Yastrzemski, Hank Aaron and the ever picturesque Thurman Munson.
