Reasonably well made. Confusing football thing
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich It works and well enough at that. Would prefer straight arm rather than the football but the price made the decision for me. The condenser captures a lot of water in the cooling coil, leaks long after tear down, giving up water caught deep in folds of tubing. Just something to be aware of. It does its job fairly well.
I pulled the drain valve off and put a 120v water heater element in it to give my electric range a hand at heating.
The 2-1/2” couplings are an odd size when looking for other fittings to add on. 2” or 1.5” would be more convenient.
I use flour paste to seal it, rather than trust the silicone gaskets supplied.
All in all I am happy with it.

Good value, needed tweaking
The housing on the one I received was ever so slightly out of round, or my alternator's bell is. Anyway, some careful test fitting to show tight spots and patience with a file got it matched and I was able to gently tap it into place.
Functions perfectly and I'm back to being regulated to 27VDC.

Decent for the price
Seems ok. Holds at just above 13V on my bike, I'd prefer 14, but it's enough.
