Best corded mouse Microsoft have ever produced
For me this is the best corded office mouse that Microsoft have ever produced and a tragedy that only recycled ones are available now. I had for many years used their old ergonomic mouse with a ball and this optical mouse is of the same quality. I had bought their latest office mouse and was very disappointed, being cheap looking, plasticy and rather small. I did notice that the mouse I am reviewing has “Microsoft” written in an old font and unfortunately to some corporate minds that is everything! Please Microsoft bear in mind that if you are using something day in, day out, that ‘cool’, ‘wow factor’ and brand image are all a poor second to comfort!

Electrolux Z7292 Bagless Cylinder
I have now bought 2 of these which has to be a recommendation in itself. Firstly we were looking for a bagless cylinder vacuum for my mother in law who is in her late 70's so a major consideration was weight as well as being bagless. This was the lightest available in its class. Furthermore she has been quite delighted with its performance especially the suction. So much so that we have now bought the same model for my daughter who lives in a one-bedroom flat where space is at a premium.
It has to be said that this is a budget solution and the only real negative is the tools supplied which are rather cheap and plasticy - presumably for economy as the cylinder itself is excellent value.

Rather Disappointed
I have use Microsoft mice for some years including when they had a ball. Hitherto all of them have been excellent. It may be that this one is somewhat small for an office mouse and I have quite large hands but I did think it is somewhat plasticy and of cheap quality, more like a budget item. I especially do not like the fact that you no longer have buttons, but that the upper surface bends. Think I am not alone in asking why Microsoft stopped manufacturing its Wheel Mouse 1.1a, for me the best corded mouse they have ever produced. Bear in mind if you work in an office, you have a mouse in your hand a lot of the time and you will more be more concerned about comfort rather than looks to say nothing of DSE regs. If this is something to do with corporate image and Windows 10, Microsoft should think again.
