A well detailed beacon
This beacon has sharp detail. It has plenty of room for one 0204 size LED up inside. You can't quite fit two in there. I was hoping to get two flashing LEDs up in there with the idea of having the out of sink flashing mimic the real thing, but it proved to be too difficult. The beacon will allow user to pass a 1.5 mm optic filament up into it if lighting is provided that way. The approach with one LED up inside works better. Suspending the LED in the best position is a minor challenge. The orange "glass" or lens detail presses firmly into the base. Since it is separate from the bass, painting the base while mounted on the locomotive cab with no masking necessary is possible. Pictures if ATSF yellow/blue warbonnets do show the base of the beacon as being painted yellow.

It is sold short by saying it is for ice cream.
This is as close as you can get to the old Vernco, but is about 0.5" shorter. This is a really handy tool for cooking in small sauce pans which is what I use it for. Not the best ice cream spade, but it shines in other uses which is why I really like it. Saying it is for ice cream is selling it short. The straight edge at the point scrapes the bottom of pans more efficiently than a rounded point. Good in softer ice cream, but would not recommend it for hard or very cold ice cream. It would be nice if this item was available in a version having a 2-3" longer handle with the wooden part remaining exactly the same length. I would buy that in a second.

The ADULT bicycle kickstand
This is the correct kickstand for an adult bike! I have no idea why dealers in my area only carry the 285 mm version of the same thing when it obviously does not work well. I am not special and plenty of others are sure to have the same experience. With this 305 mm stand, my bikes stand upright with just a slight lean the way they are supposed to and are not always about to fall over.
