Thin cowl
My old cowl was a cheap steel cowl that was installed by the installers of my multi fuel burner. It lasted 2yr before is rotted and came off. I looked at a stainless steel cowl in the hope it will last longer. I bought this one as it's stainless and the price was good. My overall impression of the cowl is it's very thin, however feels quite well made. I looked at a range of cowls after my purchase and noticed some have stainless steel nuts and bolts through the supporting straps. fearing this one I've bought may fail on the little weld spots. I purchased some stainless steel 4mm nuts/washers and bolts. I drilled through the strap and bolted through. If the welds do fail my fixings will hold firm. Only time will tell how long this one will last.

Great sounding speakers for a small to medium size room.
for me... these are perfect,plugged into my laptop playing my music.. they sound nice and basey and compared to my mates computer speakers they're awesome. and they look the bizz too.
