Essential to any would-be songwriter!
Cole Porter was America's (and the world's) greatest song writer, and that's also the opinion of many other songsmiths of his era. The book not only contains the delightful lyrics to every song that Porter wrote, it contains a ton of trivia about the shows and movies in which the songs were used. It's an absolutely fascinating volume about an equally fascinating person who composed both music and the lyrics to every song.

Disturbing!!!
Dance With a Stranger is a film about Ruth Ellis, the last woman hanged in England. The true-to-life story of Ellis and her lover is difficult to watch because it is so brilliantly acted that the viewer becomes an eye-witness to what actually happened. The "affair" they had was doomed from the get-go and it plunges to murderous depths as the film unwinds. It is a spectacular movie but viewers should prepare themselves to squirm. I can't watch it a second time.

A charming and delightful film in every way.

The sound track alone is worth the price and while no one would cast Ned Beatty, (of "Deliverance" fame), as Irish Tenor, Josef Locke, Beatty pulls it off with style and heart-warming charm. His lip-syncing to Vernon Midgley's crooning is flawless and Adrian Dunbar and Tara Fitzgerald add the icing to the cinematic cake. A delightful film in every way.
