You get what you pay for
First off the clip broke when coaxing it on to my visor. (it's not as universal as one would think) Not to be deterred I decided to screw it on, with some modification that worked out great and I was happy.
It's unfortunate that using it turned out to be an even bigger disappointment. The shading lens does very little for sun glare. I bought this specifically to combat sun glare created by following vehicles with chrome, flat spots and rear windows that reflect the sun right into your vision on sunny days. Forget about that. The shading is too light and distorts the view ahead. Sort of like riding around in a car where the inside glass hasn't been cleaned for years. To make things worse it is NOT polarized. THAT (polarization) would be the first requirement to enable it to do what it alleges to do. As if all this wasn't enough, the shade snapped off at the pivot point the very first day I used it. Of course it was a sunny day and that didn't help at all. Don't know how the yellow visor works, because the unit didn't last long enough to try it.
It was almost worth the price of admission just to learn once again that you get what you pay for!
This isn't a shot at the seller, they held up their end of the bargain, but I'm sure that if they ever bothered to try one of these terrible quality shields out they would drop this item like a hot potato!

Very nice manual. Tons of information to keep a period truck on the road or restore. I like this much better that the disc or download formats.
