Revelations from a press-phobic genius!
A fascinating read, not only for the jazz references and so on, but also for the accounts of life on the road. People think that touring is easy but Fagan's diary shows it can be anything but. Add to this his honesty about his mental and physical health, the stripping of his wealth by voracious publicists, managers and record companies, and his worries about the future of our world leave you with nothing but sympathy for this bereft genius.
