Brilliant reference to watermills.
If your interested in water mills this book is a must. Nice hardback book. Explains in the first part how things work, then goes through each National Trust mill in turn describing what's there. Lots of photos, and illustrations. Recommended.

Print on demand, Lynton an Barnstaple Railway
As a fan of this railway, and already owning most of the reading material on this particular subject, I was curious about this book.
I had read other reviews on print on demand books, and most people seemed happy with what they had received back. The book is a collection of many Wikipedia articles, by different authors, all compiled together into a A5 sized paperback book. Lots of random pieces of information, not all railway but relevant none the less! For example: Information on Lynton, Lynton and Lynmouth cliff railway, George Newnes, Whistlepound reservoir, Parracombe, Exmoor, Barnstaple, General narrow gauge. All this in addition to actual L&B content. All quite interesting, compiled in no particular order, 176 pages. Something a little different!

Interesting, and a little different
This book, although initially bought for the Lynton And Barnstaple Railway content is a good informative read. Written in a slightly different fashion to other books on the subject, but still worth a look. It can be found fairly cheaply and for this reason is a worthy addition to any collection of interest in this area.
