It could not be bettered. The title says it all.
Stanley Hall was a first class lifelong railwayman who rose through the ranks to the British Railways Board (BRB).
He was a railwayman’s railwayman.
Every book he has written about his railway career and railways is masterful.
The rail industry today could do with several Stanley Halls.
What a great railwayman he was.

The name of the title sums it up best.
It was a superb series with first class actors.
Martin Shaw was quite brilliant.
Wonderful entertainment.!
