”The Nightfly” in surround is a beautiful experience

Finally I got to experience a studio recording in 5.1 dvd-audio advanced resolution. Historically I never cared for surround systems but have always been curious about the sound quality of dvd-audio and being able to hear isolated parts of studio recordings. When I upgraded bluray player and got a surround system I made sure it would be compatible with dvd audio, and I’m really happy I did. Most surrround live concerts just put alot of audience in the rear speakers but this studio recording put horn sections and wonderful things in the surround channels. Just wonderful, it’s like exploring the music all over with a live-feel to it. And is the most enjoyable experience about having a surround system. Also nice menus with suiting art work and lyrics.
