Boyer MK3 Ignition Kit - Suzuki GT380/GT550/GT750 Triples

Waste of money

I bought mine for a GT550 and it has been a complete nightmare. The original plate has to filed back and modified. The connectors provided with the kit are pretty poor, that doesn't lend themselves to good secure connections. All cylinders spark at the same time, so the level of spark power is quite small compared to the previous contact breaker set up. Bought new coils, but that didn't improve the situation either. Left with a bike that runs on two or sometimes three cylinders! Waste of money and obviously made just for Kawasaki triples. I'm taking mine out and going back to original set up.

Functional item.

As a wing cover mat, it does what it says on the tin. The magnetic rim is helpful and it easily kept clean. The only issue I have, is with the printed white logo on the blue background. The way it has been packed for storage has caused the white print to attach itself in blotches to other areas of the mat. It's probably been packed too soon after manufacture and not allowed to dry. So that looks rather naff, but it is functional.
