Good product, less is exposed once in.
This seems to be a well made product, have not installed it yet though. The one draw back is the instructions don't tell you how to fill in the space around it inside the tail gate as it is much smaller in diameter than the tail gate hole so you have to use some creativity for this. But other wise I like it.

This spring is just like the original way back in the '50s and 60s. Have not seen anything like in any store. works great.
