The Great Waltz (made in 1938)
I bought this movie for my father-in-law.
He saw it in a theater in 1938, and told me it was what introduced him to Johann Strauss music.
He has loved his music ever since.
He was interested in seeing the movie again, after 71 years.
So, I bought it for him and watched it and I actually liked it. - I really did not expect to.
Fast moving and a comedy of sorts, and the music is undeniably great.
