Let me start by saying this. I have been a member of eBay since 2003, purchasing and years ago selling, as well. Recently, I have started selling again to help pay for a crisis I recently had in my home. The main sewer line backed up in my home. As the city worked on the blockage, the raw sewage was pushed into my basement and covered the entire downstairs in sewage and sludge (sewer water), which involved debris from neighboring homes. Flooring (painted) was ruined, and walls and surfaces (drywall and wall border) will have to be removed. Cabinets will be disposed of, and all surfaces will have to be sanitized by a professional. Blankets and towels of all kinds were destroyed and will also be disposed of. Christmas decorations were ruined and disposed of. Private home insurance will not cover any of the costs related to this damage; clean up costs are estimated to be upwards of $15K, which does not include any repairs. I am trying to raise money for everything I lost. xo
