i had planned to make this a back up.
as the title says i intended to get this as a back up as my alternator was going south and parts store alternators are notoriously junk for these trucks. even the stock alt is under powered for the amount of electronics.
I was on a road trip and as I was heading home into the mountains I noticed low charge.
so I turned around and headed into the city and went through 5, yes you read that right, 5 alternators before finding one that was up to the task of just getting me home.
so when i got home i got online and found this at 250 amps and as nevelle (spelling?) & dc power were backlogged and out of stock i ordered the 250 amp powermax to get me by.
well 4 years later, it has been faultless.
I am thinking of ordering another to have as a back up just in case. but this has served me well

Firefly
An intriguing blend of western, sci fi, future tech, eastern and western influence. All wrapped up in an epic space saga with some of the best character interaction and nuance I can remember seeing in a television show ever.
Brilliantly written and executed.
