Don't bother
The very thin, booklet was disappointing in that while telling a rather under documented story of early "Baking Ovens" It lacked concise construction details, such as an onsite survey with accurate, specific details as to construction and method of use. The details that were provided as to how the bake oven,
was heated, as it was only 'adjacent to the fire' and shared only a chimney flu which of course allows
heat out, but not in. Overall the booklet was vague, very poorly illustrated and could have used a little
more thought and development for what could be a more interesting story.
