Inexperienced Lebanese Cook
The book is excellent. My husband is Lebanese and is from the Moutain area of Lebanon. These recipes are very close to the dishes of his family. I was told about this book 2-3 years after we were married. We have been married 30 years.As my Mom says it was a Godsend. The limited time I spent with his family helped me to make tweaks in some of the dishes. You have to read the recipes because she gives different ideas from different family members. They give you ideas. Like why you can char the outside of the eggplant in make babaghanouj. It gives it a smoky taste. Susan Awar.
