A must buy!
Beautiful picture book. Tells a compelling story, (for preschoolers.) It creates a sense of foreboding and has a very happy ending. All with only one line repeated over and over with different pictures - "Here comes the cat."
I bought it for my own kids in the 90s when it came out and was delighted to find it online so I could by it for my 4 year old grandchild.

Superb
My kids had this book in the 90s. They loved it which is why I searched out for my granddaughter. Even though it's only a picture book the plot is very compelling. The illustrations are beatiful.

Creative toy
Magnets stick quite well. One can build many structures with them to provide creative play.
