The ball joint hole was too big.
I had to use two thick washers to get the ball joint to seat properly. On the stock control arm, none was needed......

Good for the price
OK let's be honest,...this is the cheapest soldering station you'll find, so don't have stellar expectations. Later, I found out Fry's had the same item for the same price. It works ok, but takes awhile to heat up.

You get what you pay for...
This is not the cheapest swing arm lamp available, but it is of very good quality. I like the switch in the lamp-head as opposed to inline with the power cord. I bought this to replace a swing arm lamp that had a plastic post at the base (where it inserts into the mounting bracket). Can you guess what broke on the old lamp? This lamp has a metal post, which should last. BTW I'm using an LED bulb....bright and cool to the touch.
