the carpenters .... revisited.
it has to be time specific .... and it is for me. the carpenters were such a big part of my growing up and then to have karen taken away at such a young age ... it was just not fair. but that was also a life lesson as well ... telling me you gotta pick up the pieces and just move on ... as richard has done ... in his own way.
all things are relative .... as what we listened to other than the carpenters, our parents must have thought it was not real music like how they had.
now when i hear what my kids are listening to ... i don't really care for some of the rap or reggae but have to remind myself this is what it is for their time.
it did warm my heart that they enjoyed listening to this carpenters also though .... so perhaps .. there is hope ?
