Best rack for heavy e-bikes
E-bikes are heavy. That's why you need a sturdy, well-made one. Rad Power Bikes recommend this one. My Rad Wagon fits in it easily, although at 72 pounds, it's a bit difficult for one person, ME, to even get the bike up on to the rack. However, the rack does have a "tip down" feature which helps in this regard. But tipping back up to its level position is a challenge when the bike is on the rack. A second person helps in this regard; one to lift the rack and the other to slide the "stop pin" back into position. But, once everything is where it should be, the rack is sturdy and carries the bike safely and securely. I particularly like that it comes with its own locking cable (long enough to secure the bike to the rack and car) and locking pin which secures the hitch base to the hitch receptacle. When not in use, the rack folds up nicely. When up or down (the latter with bike on it), I can still open the tailgate window on my Tahoe, which is a good thing I had not expected. All I'd recommend for customizing the rack is to add some self-adhesive red reflectors to the rack bars -- inexpensive at any auto parts store. This helps motorists behind you at night know that there's "stuff" protruding from your vehicle beyond the tailgate. Maybe Hollywood racks should add these to the package. I'd also recommend you watch the assembly video on YouTube for which there is a link on the RadPowerBikes website. It says it helps "augment" the written assembly instructions, which I didn't actually find in the box until about a third of the way through assembly. I guess you should unpack EVERYTHING before beginning actual assembly. The instructions were way at the bottom. Otherwise, assembly was pretty easy, as is use and adjustment. I would highly recommend this rack, especially for heavy bikes. And it has room for TWO bikes. Beware it is built for 2" hitches.

Perfecdt Gift!
Bought this DVD as a gift for the owners of the mansion at "Howard's End" on the south coast of Devon, UK. Since it was European/UK standard, it played perfectly on their DVD player, and I was astounded at the very fair price and speed with which it was delivered to the USA, so I could take it with me to the UK. The movie is engaging, with beautiful costumes and, of course Oscar-winning performances. Classic Merchant-Ivory fare and wonderful Anthony Hopkins. Transfer was top-notch too.
